My entire life metal inspired and helped me pull through. Forever now i wanted to create, record and release my own music, so I started listening to every single sub-genre out there, not only to get inspired, but also to see which genres are fun to play and write, and stumbeled upon Black Metal. First impressions weren't that good, I found everything a little bit too grim and anharmonic, every song felt the same to me. That was, until I found Der Weg Einer Freiheit on Spotify, a german Post-Black-Metal outfit, which overwhelmed me with melody and harmony, while still being grim and evil. After i fell in love with them, i gave Black Metal another chance and started listening to things like Burzum. And after I've listened to Filosofem once, i knew that i had to try and play some of that stuff on my guitar, which i absolutely loved. After then seeing some underground Black Metal artists like Anderwelt myself, i figured, why not start writing my own stuff?
