Dieser Song wurde eigentlich als dritter oder vierter Song nach Habgier konzipiert, jedoch war ich dann im Endeffekt so stark von der Aufnahme überzeugt, dass es sich falsch angefühlt hätte, wenn er nicht als Titel-track benutzt werden würd'.
Jedoch entsanden diese Lyrics bereits vor allen anderen, das war damals mein erster Versuch auf Deutsch zu dichten, nachdem ich zu dieser Zeit wirklich täglich DWEF auf und ab hörte und mich Nikitas Texte auch stark ansprachen.

This song was written and planned as the third or fourth song of the records, yet in the end I was so happy with the way the recording turned out, it would've felt wrong to treat it as anything but a title track.
Although it wasn't the first song i wrote after Habgier, the lyrics were the first time i tried writing in german. At this point in my life i was listening to pretty much all of Der Weg Einer Freiheit on a daily basis and i really liked Nikita's way of writing lyrics.
